So it's not just Momoko, but Maasa too. I'd b e so surprised if any of those two would dye theirs though.

My first shock was actually Risako since she always rocked the black hair with the whole diva and staright attitude it gave her, so I was suprised to seeing her going back to brown hair, even though it suits her!

But yh the biggest shock would be Momo since she never dyed her hair and always had the same hairstyle xD
Apart from Berryz, if Airi dyed her hair it would be the end of the world (although Maimai and Maimi just followed Chisa and are not brown headed)...

I loved Risako's dark hair, I hope she goes back to it soon.
Maimi is still black though. That brown hair she had in that outfit, was most likely a wig I'd say. especially since in blog pictures and all she has long-ish black hair.

I expected it to be a wig but it's so smooth and all so I doubted it for a second...
And yeah I always though black hair was the top on Risako since she always pulled it together with her style...

It is actually.
All Berryz have originally black hair (I can't even recall any H!P member who originally has brown/light brown hair)...

Their hair naturally grows from its roots black/super dark brown, but Miyabi, Maasa and Chisato were all bottle brunettes when they auditioned for H!P Kids, and arguably several others had had some highlights, etc.
And as for the second bit, Mika Todd's hair is naturally brown.

It's really hard to know what original hair color they had because IIRC Miya had her hair dyed during the audition for H!P kids right?

As I just said, Chisato, Maasa and Miyabi.

A couple of the other girls definitely had more of a dark brown than a black, but it looked mostly natural on them (ie, Risako). But Maiha, for example, looked like she had professionally added highlights.

Sorry for making you repeat your words I get it now but what I though from reading fast was that some girls naturally had brown hair when they were young (Chisa Maa and Miya)...
