I think that they'll account for a few hundred tickets, at most, however -- there were a few dozen Japanese wota for Morning Musume at AX, and maybe a couple of dozen from Latin America and overseas. It's an expensive trip for most people, which will limit the number who actually come from very far away.
I'm also thinking of the remarkably small turnout for AKB at AX the next year (or was it the year after?) -- the Nokia Theater was less than half-filled, in spite of AKB's large wota following in Japan. They just didn't want to pay for the trip, I guess.
I think that the NY appearance will draw mostly from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with a small group coming up from South America, a few dozen J-wota, and a handful from Europe and elsewhere.
But it's still a good idea to buy your tickets as soon as they're available (i.e., the moment they're available for sale online).
If madness made us strong, we would all be invincible.
