I'd say that too, but tbh I don't even think Tsunku has any idea/plan of what's going on for "future ace/center" for the group. As far as 12th gen go, it obviously depends on the girls who apply and then the girls who deliver during the last stage and all.

Yeah, there's pretty much no say on who is going to be ace in the future as of yet. Still so much potential these girls can tap into and who knows what 12 gen will bring to the morning table.

As for Masaki, I think her unstableness is due to experimentation. While its true that it sounds like she's singing very unstable, it might just be her trying to experiment on lowering her pitch/tone. They did mention in an interview or article that Masaki is trying to develop a lower tone/pitch voice so she could have been experimenting on how and when to use it. I would say her regular "high pitch" is lower and less screechy than it was before when they were performing What is LOVE months ago.

That kind of ended rather abruptly. I was expecting some sort of. Yay Happy 10th Anniversary Berryz! \:D/ Or something.

They've had such an amazing run of songs. While the group themselves isn't one of my favorites, their song catalog is probably my 2nd favorite behind Morning Musume.

And to comment on the Masaki video. She's like a mini-Tsuji. Though, I expect she'll stabilize all that going on in there as she matures and focuses on what she's singing.

As talented as I think macchan is, I don't really consider her an ace until she becomes more independent and reliable like Sakura and Riho tbh haha. Same with Duu.

WAtching that Berryz video, I realize once again why they are my favorite group.
I mean yes, sometimes the songs were a bit eh, but they were still really really awesome!!!
...Btw, did anyone else notice how Otakebi is the ONLY song where they use those kind of powerful voices from all their singles?? Why can't they do that again? Risako sounds awesome in it! O.O
...This video also shows me how many of the MV's I've failed to watch all the way through, but that's mostly because I found those songs through other means, not MV's..
