Maybe the numbers are a calculated guesstimate of what sales may be, based on the answers surveyors give? I have no idea. Honestly, I never understood what exactly Ninki does.

In other words, it estimates pre-release buzz, but only relative to the other releases in the same poll.

The weekly rank is good, but *sigh* there goes the whole "everybody keeps doing better" trend. But if the total ends up being close to Golden Chinatown / Sayonara Usotsuki no Watashi (36k) I'd be happy.

I think that's why coupling tracks are helpful...
It makes people want to buy the single more, especially if there are 2 of them...
(People would buy the single and get a coupling track too, much more enticing than just 2 songs you can listen to online)
