[2/19] Berryz 34th single : Otona na no yo! / 1 Oku 3 Senman Sou Diet Oukoku

Yeah, a lot of the cool/mature H!P songs aren't really sexy, and I wouldn't actually care for more stuff like Maki Goto's Some boys touch or Melon Kinenbi's EROS song anyway.

I'm really excited that this single is released this week. Their sales have been going up, so I'm expecting them to do at least about as good as the previous single.

edit: Oh, just to add to the Ai no Dangan love... I did like the costumes a lot. Come on, with the song and the costumes it's like a friggin' anime opening.

You guys. I loved those "I know, Don gone" costumes. Hells yeah thought they were straight up no-air-quote sexy. The dance was kinda so-so but overall I liked the PV.

Nope, I still don't see it. Twerking in tight red pleather does not necessarily make it sexy.

Maybe not that WHOLE video but Captain/Miya/Risako moving was sexy in itself lol

To me Ai no Dangan was okay, it's just that I wasn't used to okay singles by Berryz. Even Heroine was way stronger (I actually really like Heroine, just not the PV). I think I grew to like the outfits, I just wish they had been used with a non-tragic choreography. IMO, of course. Their actual worst outfits ever are those cheap pink Aa, Yo ga Akeru things - and the staff totally knew, somehow Berryz never made it to TV with those outfits

I watched Dangan again for the first time in awhile, and the costumes have grown on me. Maasa actually looks really good here. Captain's hair is pretty sketchy, though.

I enjoyed the Dangan performance in the insect outfits from the H!P con, but I haven't see that performance on youtube again.

I think most of Berryz best dances come from their mature/cool songs. 1Oku 3Senman (I really like the dance okay, it's not that bad.), Ai no Dangan, Sayonara Usotsuki no Watashi (Another not bad one), Heroine (one of their best dances), Otona na no yo! (See 1Oku 3Senman.).

But really, Berryz has a lot of good dances. They don't need to be kicking, air-guitaring, doing the formation, or twerking in tight red pants. I think the amount of effort they actually put into their dances make them good.

Im so sick of Saki complaining. Like there was a time when Berryz was the group getting more promotion over C-ute, heck they even had the inazuma endorsement for a really long time while C-ute were transitioning to become a 5-nin group. But none of the C-ute girls ever complained like this. Like Saki's been bitching about Paris and Budokan, but heck Berryz went to both Thailand and America?????? Its just so annoying.

^ Did they even have many places to complain back then? I can't remember for sure, but I don't think they had blogs, and they definitely were not being interviewed as much.

Because circumstances are different and it's much easier to share those things now, I don't think we can assume that someone from °C-ute never would have 'complained' if given the room. (Plus getting an anime tie-in, while great, is completely different from being the first among you to hold a solo concert at a place like Budoukan.)

Then again, I don't think Saki is complaining anyway. It just seems like she's letting it be known that she was/is disappointed, frustrated, and probably worried.
