Sorry if this is a silly question, but are handshake events generally free, or do you need to buy a CD or ticket, or is it random depending on the event?

You have to buy a copy of one of the regular editions in order to participate in the handshake.

on 2/11, Morning Musume. '14 will be appearing on the Sukkiri morning talk show. They will be on a corner called "WE News", an entertainment news segment or sometimes a live performance and talk segment.

big artists like Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga have performed on this morning show corner recently. I don't know if Morning Musume. '14 will appear live in studio or will it be just a VTR report about their recent success.

Lol.

Reina says that she got e-mails from Sayu and Harunan but,
"Sato MasaKING always sends me pointless emails but about (something like) this complete silence."

If the event is at a public space, like the upcomming event on the 8th at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza you can watch the performance part of the event for free. You only have to buy a CD for a ticket for a spot near the stage and the actual handshake. This is actually pretty much the only way to see them perform in real live if you don't have the money to buy a CD or concert tickets.

If the event is in a "private" closed off space, like an event stage in a record store or in concert venue then you usually already have to buy a CD to enter the event.

Thanks. Pity I'll probably never ever get a chance to see them live, let alone meet any of them. :crying:
(Unless some how magically they come down here, or I get another chance to go to Japan).
