I'm starting to see how kids can get hooked on this. Despite the fact that the entire show is really just one long commercial (for TV Tokyo's anime merchandise, for batons and tambourines, for other paid placements), the story lines and recurring characters suck you in.

Also, I just learned that the suta in the title is supposed to be "station" or "studio" (it's unclear which), not "star". Go figure.

Wasn't he part of the Korean auditions though? I'm pretty sure I remember him on there, giving them lessons in one episode.
