Between Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and other sources, there are too damn many choices. I truly don't know what to watch next. I'm the kind of guy who would be happy to watch nothing but Community and Good Eats reruns forever, but I know that's not healthy.

I just finished Yes, Minister / Yes, Prime Minister. Here's what I'm considering next…

Spoiler: show
Comedy:
- As Time Goes By (I've seen several episodes over the years, but not all and not in order)
- The Thick of It
- Spy
- Wilfred

Drama:
- Breaking Bad (unlikely, because I really don't like crime/gang stories, but it's almost unavoidable)
- House of Cards (UK, not US)
- The Tudors (seems a bit too 90210, but maybe…)
- Luther
- Dexter

Sci-fi/fantasy:
- Dollhouse
- Falling Skies
- Fringe
- Continuum
- Outcasts
- Misfits
- Black Mirror
- American Horror Story (unlikely, because it's similar to Locke & Key, which I just read)
- Twin Peaks (I was a bit too young for it when it originally aired)
- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (it's been twenty years, it might be worth a repeat)

Anime:
- Attack on Titan
- Welcome to the NHK
- Mushi-shi
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (would be the third time for me, but it's deep enough to warrant several repeats)
- The Irresponsible Captain Tylor (an old favorite of a friend, I keep promising to watch it)

Non-fiction:
- Survivorman
- Stephen Fry in America
- An Idiot Abroad
- NOVA (152 full episodes via the PBS website, that could keep me going for months)

For what it's worth, I've pretty much given up on Almost Human and Sleepy Hollow.

Anyhow, I welcome your votes and suggestions.

I'd say skip. I love Whedon, but this was Whedon at his worst.
Also if you're not a fan of Eliza Dushku's acting then watching this is tough.

I don't know how well you'd like Fringe, considering your dislike for Almost Human. But it's kind of in a different vein, so who knows!
I'd just suggest watching a few eps. The worst that could happen is that you don't like it. My personal favorite is Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (3x19).

Falling Skies is a different story. I like it, but it can get really ridiculous. Season 3 finale was terrible.

AoT is pretty good. Non anime fans seem to enjoy it, even if they've never really seen anything else. I can think of some things that might possibly annoy you (the main character is a bit of an idiot sometimes), but I think it's worth a watch. Sure, it's a bit overhyped, but it's still good.

Keep in mind that it takes a few episodes to get going.

It's not completely overrated like a lot of popular anime. Looking at you, SAO.

I can only say I enjoyed this up to.. somewhere around the end of the third season/start of the fourth. I stopped caring after that.

- Misfits
I stopped watching this when major cast changes started happening, but I enjoyed it quite a bit up to that point.

- American Horror Story (unlikely, because it's similar to Locke & Key, which I just read)
I've watched all of this to date and though it is sometimes off the mark, I still enjoy it.

- Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (it's been twenty years, it might be worth a repeat)
Yes. Just yes. Easily one of my favorites, and easily something I would go for again.

- Attack on Titan
Considering this myself.

- Mushi-shi
I loved this, so I say go for it. Though I have heard from others that they found it hard to watch a lot of all at once.

The thing with Fringe is that the first few episodes, maybe almost the entire first season, were subpar compared with the rest. And the last season was not to everyone's taste, although I enjoyed it. But at its best, it was incredible. My favorite American show of the past 10 years by far. If we're talking of all time I don't know that it could ever dethrone the incomparable El Premio Amor. XD

(Lol @ chubby teenaged Diego Luna.)

Wow, I didn't know there are quite a few movies with Mads Mikkelsen on Netflix. Also some with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. I'm sure they put those movies there because the actors are internationally famous now.

^"The hunt" is great. And horrible because it's such a good portrayal of what society is like. Recommending it though.
