Fun fact: The marmite (similar to vegemite) factory was closed for a while after it was damaged in the Christchurch earthquake, so there was a national shortage of marmite. It was a pretty big fucking deal, as marmite is rather popular here (I hate it tbh). Once the marmite ran out, which it did, the "crisis" was dubbed "Marmageddon". And then when the factory reopened and marmite came back, the manufacturer was promoting its return with slogans like "The end of Marmageddon" and shit like that.
