It's incredible how bad Berryz are at live singing, they made the song nearly unbearable at times... And with 1 oku being also terrible live, I want them to improve a lot, or have less "fair" line distribution. Leave the singing to just Risako/Miyabi and some secondary lines to momo, that's just enough...
I believe they're the worst performing group in H!P currently, and it shouldn't be like this...

Anyway, this is a mediocre double A-side in my eyes (ears), but I hope it gets nice MVs and good promotion

Berryz are bad live? Leave Yurina/Saki/Chii/Maa in the back to get no lines? Wost performing group? Haha, Okay.
Okay, maybe they aren't as good as Miya/Rii/Momo, but they are a great constribution to the groups.
All seven have unique and special voices. Sometimes, songs just NEED some back girl vocals.

I think all five groups in H!P are all good performers. They all work hard, they all give it their best. And Okay, there are some songs were the girls run out of breath (I kind've noticed that in Miya in 1Oku 3Senman) while performing. But that is perfectly normal. I don't want it to be one of those songs were "Miya's Line -> Longest Instrumental ever -> Risako's Line -> Longest Instrumental Ever -> Yurina". That is a big no no.

And, I remember my basketball team coach telling me and my friend after one of our games that even though we weren't put in the game alot, that doesn't mean we aren't as good as the others. We were a big help to our team, and without us, our team would fall apart. And that when we had practice, we had to work really hard.

When I heard that, I honestly think of Berryz Koubou. Without Captain, Without Yurina, Without Maa, Without Chii, I think they would fall apart. All the girls are a big help to the group and they are what makes it "Berryz Koubou". I can't really see Berryz Koubou if it was a five member group, if they added new girls, if the group only gave three girls lines and made everyone else shut up.

It would lose it's purpose in the name "Group". Team. Because there is no "I" in team.

And okay, other groups have back girls and that doesn't mean they are not a team because they all get together fine. But I think that shovinf 4/7 in the back would just... kill Berryz Koubou for me.

No one is saying they shouldn't be part of the group, just that maybe not all of them should sing as much as they do because they don't deliver as well as others do.
Not everyone thinks this way and that's fine, but some of us prefer good vocals over "fair line distribution" that's all. I could do with Risako, Miyabi, Momoko and Yurina. Even Captain could get a line here and there, but Maasa and Chinami really don't do well in the singing department for me so I'd rather they don't get too many lines. Just my preference.
If I got things the way I actually wanted it though, it'd continuously be "Risako and Miyabi with the rest." 8D

As much as i love Captain/Miyabi/Momo/Risako, i have to agree, Berryz is really Horrid Live...

Fair distribution over "better" vocals. Fair distribution allows the members to not feel as shafted. I feel that MM'14 doesn't exactly show equality in songs. With not everyone getting solo lines and the constant hierarchy (Ace >>>> pretty much everyone else). Berryz doesn't feel that way. It's more like everyone is on the same level and there they can each allow more individuality.

I'm talking musically wise aka vocals. I realize MM'14's non-main vocalists members have other things they are better act.
It seems on this forum everyone likes to hate on Berryz. Using their "lackluster" music to find other things to complain about.

And I KNOW y'all are not commenting on that minimal amount of Maasa, Chinami, Captain, and Yurina. I watched the performance and was expecting another Golden Chinatown. I'm not for better line distribution over good vocals but it wasn't bad. More importantly it wasn't worse than it usually is.
