Interesting -- but in the entertainment industry, there is a tendency to overhype upcoming announcements, so it could be an anticlimax.

It it is something bigger than just a good product tie-in/advertising deal, however, I wonder what it could be.

Maybe it's a H!P/AKB collaboration -- either a joint subunit, or a Morning Musume/AKB48 joint single, performance, or even tour. I've been kind of wondering if and when something like that might happen.

I would like it (particularly if Takamina was heavily involved), and I think a lot of other people would, but for some H!P fans and some AKB fans, it would be the apocalypse.

The timing of it is very curious. How potentially negative to fans could it be so close to the release of a major single with two (one major) tie-ins.

I don't know why people bringing up this voting thing. Terrible idea. And I don't see how any of the ideas people have come up with here would bring them back to becoming the big stars again?

Making a direct internal rival group out of KKS, or god forbid adding a lot of KKS into MM'14 wouldn't do shit for that goal.

Announcing international ambitions would be interesting, though why people would think they'd "focus" on international stuff
is beyond me. Especially now that they're moving up domestically. Why would they just drop that just to head to completely uncharted waters that no Japanese artists has ever conquered, as far as I know.

Have no Idea what he'll announce, but the au connection is very curious.
