I was supposed to take a fast break from studying and just check a pic or two, but ahvahjgdvhjgdva. All the events! *_* Thanks a lot Amped btw for taking your time with it, I really enjoythis kinds of posts. All the pics ajsbjsbajsbajshb!

Also, I won't be able to continue studying now. I failed to the temptation and clicked on the play button for Kimi no Kawari wa Iyashinai. IT'S SO GOOD! I wasn't expecting anything like this, but it's wawesome! Song, dance, outfits, the girls hugging each other... Really cheerful!

Now I want to see the MV. At least I'll have my exam this Wednesday before the Haro Sute new chapter comes out, because I know I won't be able to concentrate on my math problems at all once I've seen it.

I'm incredibly impressed.

Pro: It's a cool song in the same lieu as what they've been releasing for the past year and a half. The distribution was as expected, a Riho-Sakura lead with sublead from Mizuki, Sayu, and Ayumi.

Con: I feel like the "Tamashii wa Nippon" line was kind of forced. Like Tsoonk forced it in there to remind people that it's the Olympics cheer song. But i'll get over it.

Overall I think What is Love? is still my favorite on this single but not by much. Kimi no Kawari probably could've stood on it's own as a single A-Side and I would've been perfectly happy. Additionally, Egao no Kimi is definitely a grower. If this single doesn't get #1 I'll be surprised especially since the last time I looked at the competition there wasn't really much.

And performance specific thoughts:
The girls looked gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. The talk segment was great expect sometimes I feel bad for the other girls who don't get camera time.
Riho was probably chosen because she's the up and coming ace, Eripon because she's the only one with an easy gimmick, and Sayu because she's the only recognizable face of the group. The performance was also good expect for the fact that the only glimpse of Haruna, Haruka, Kudo, and Zukki were at the very end. Eripon surprisingly got some decent screen time. Hopefully the PV will be better about that.

During the dance when they're paired up, are they trying to represent (lack of a better word) some winter sports, like skiing? That's how it kinda looks to me.

I can't tell if I've watched that performance too many times, or not enough? Love it. I'd love to hear a proper concert version of that.

Like, the only part I didn't like in the dance is was in the end. While 5 girls went to do the olympic rings at front, they did not made the back all symmetric. Being a 10 member group, Kanon was placed in the most awkward spot.

Other than that, the dance and song was so awesome. I seriously love this triple A-side.
