[2/19] Berryz 34th single : Otona na no yo! / 1 Oku 3 Senman Sou Diet Oukoku

Berryz vocals for me:
Miyabi & Momoko > Yurina > Saki > Maasa > Chinami >>>>> Risako
I am not too hot on Risako's voice. I mean, she sounds really good sometimes but... Her voice can be really painful sometimes, especially with higher notes. I don't like high pitched Momoko,I like lower pitched Momo. The strong vocal Momoko. ex: ROCK Erotic (her final line in the last chorus).
I like Miya's voice because... I just love it! Even though sometimes she can be a bit breathy. I think her vocals are more fit for songs such as Motto Zutto Issho ni Itakatta and Otona na no yo!. She is one of my overall favorite H!P vocals as well.
I kind of like Yurina's voice. I especially liked her voice in 2009-10. But now... it is like her voice just stays the same. No powerful notes, no high notes, nothing. Well, that is from my point of view. I honestly think I have only heard her hit a high note only like three or four times in her whole Berryz career.
I love Saki's nasal voice, especially when rapping. I don't really like how high pitched she has been sounding in lives lately though.
Maasa's voice is alright. I used to adore, but now, it is like I don't even hear it as much as I used to. I really liked her voice in Anata Nashi (2013 ver.). I don't know why,but it sounded beautiful ♥.
Chinami is my second least fvaorite singer of Berryz Koubou, even though she is my favorite idol overall. It is kind of like my situation with Yurina. It always sounds the same to me. But I just don't really like it. I was kind of hoping she would get better as her years in Berryz progrssed but... I guess not. But that doesn't stop me from loving her.

I like Diet the most. Otona na no yo! is pretty damn good too,but Diet sounds AWESOME from what we got so far. I can't wait to see how the MVs turn out. I think we might get them in late January, pressumbly after MM.'s third A-side's MV is shown.

Risako as much as she's improved is still pretty bad. But she does have an extremely interesting distinctive voice. She's been singing lead since she had that shrill voice when she was a kid so she'll definitely keep getting lead in songs. Tsunku has already decided. I imagine Momoko gets less lines because she's busy with other things these days. That's really the only think I can think of because she's far and away their best singer but she does have a someone unpleasant high voice.

Miyabi sings well and has a pleasant tone (i guess that's tone) so baring another scandal where she gets line bitched she'll probably always have a lead too.

To think that Berryz used to be the group with the best line distribution.

They still are. Every member pretty much gets some kind of solo in every single. Even if it's just a few words.

Anybody remember back at JPM when Maasa got two lines in Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi and everyone was super surprised and shocked lol.

It's just getting old... Would be nice to see some changes. C-ute is much more interesting since Chisa stepped up as a lead singer.
To think that Berryz used to be the group with the best line distribution. What a turnaround.
But I definitely like Diet Oukoku a lot. Both songs suit them. Mid-tempo and mid-range keys which Berryz are good at.

They don't have a bad line distribution.
Atleast this isn't the Matenrou Show.

I personally don't like Otona na no yo so far, and I really love 1- oku...
1-oku is really really really different, especially the parts with the repetitive note sang for a while, that gets stuck in your head.

I have a fealing that the studio version will be 10 times better...
In 1-oku, you hear that they all get a bunch of lines!

1 Oku 3 is not bad at all! Looking forward to the studio version, for both, just incase Otona na no yo turns out to be a lot better in studio version than in the live.

The beginning to diet sounded like a yoga fitness video background music.
Seems like a working song to me. I'd laugh if the PV featured the girls working out, it'd be hot to see the girls do squats or something lolol.

I like Otona na no yo more than 1oku 3senman sou Diet Oukoku. It feels like a stronger song and I found myself singing along to it a lot faster than 1oku 3senman.
