Mitsui Aika announces hiatus from showbiz

On December 31st, former Morning Musume member and talento Mitsui Aika announced through her official blog that she would put a stop to her entertainment activities. She will study English abroad starting in January.

Mitsui stated that she grew a strong interest in English after her graduation from Morning Musume. She declared, "I want to learn genuine English by coming in contact with it. I began to think that way. I am thinking about studying abroad!!!"

Regarding her departure from Japan, she commented, "I have many things to prepare for, but I am thinking about leaving within January," and continued, "I won't leave Hello!"

先ほど、LIVEで発表したので、知ってる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、


新たに頑張りたいことを見つけました。

それは語学です。
英語を話せるようになりたいと思いました。




モーニング娘。を卒業して、今日まで色々と、したいことを探してました。

初めてハワイに行った時から英語をやりたいなって思ってはいたんですが、なかなか勉強する機会がありませんでした。
でも、卒業して自分の時間が増えてから、また英語に目覚めて、英会話教室へ行ったり、本を読んだり、英語を話す友達を作ったりしたんですが…。

やはり本場の英語に触れて学びたいな。と思うようになりました。





急なご報告になってしまい、申し訳ありません…。






留学しようと思います！！！


色々準備もあるのですが1月中には旅立とうと思ってます。


お正月のコンサートは出たかったのですが、本当に申し訳ありません。


グループ卒業といい、今回といい、急になってしまいすいません。。

が…。

ハローは抜けません！(笑)



頑張って、英語を習得したいと思います！
みなさんを驚かせたいと思います！！



わがままですが、見守ってて欲しいなと思います。。
頑張ります！！

If it doesn't get many posts then it'll just fall into obscurity on page 2 and won't clutter. If it DOES get enough posts to stay at the top and relevant then it seems to me that it's fine for it to have its own thread?
This is basically my outlook on all threads. Zunu might have other feelings, though?

I wish her all the best! this is actually good for her as well, studying English has its benefits. It'll make it easier for her fans abroad to interact with her soon...It's funny how I like her more after she graduates (i actually quite enjoy her appearances in Hello! Satoyama).
