It makes a lot of sense of why they're doing a "live" MV for what is love?. Between the Autumn tour, naruchika tour, H!P countdown llve, th H!P winter concerts (and the rehearsals for them) MM.'s schedule is jam packed. Hardly any time to really take x number of days off to shoot music videos. Maybe one PV is feasible but two would be super hard. Especially if they want to release the PVs a month ahead there'd be even less time to edit.

I wonder if What is love will be like Chokkan2 and have both live and closeups or it will be all live.
H!P videos usually only take one day to shoot though.

ngl I hope they did extra filming at budokan just so not all of the filming is done live and it doesn't look like it was taken off the concert DVD. like chokkan 2 was really basic but the kanashiki heaven live version was nice. I hope it's more like an AKB PV with the dance shot being the concert footage. I hope it turns out well.

If they do it like Chokkan, I would really like the (studio) close-up shots to be the same outfit and the concert (dance) shot. :s

the reason why they got the filming from the Budokan concert is so they get everyone to shout that "What do you want?" line, just like they mentioned on Hello Station. the impact wouldn't be the same if it was just Morning Musume's recording.

Same. I hope that the outfits for What is Love keep the colorful theme (though probably not the exact same from the concert but at least similar?) and all and then the outfits from the pic from HEY!x3 or something is for the Olympic song.

I agree with some that the concert outfits for What is Love aren't the most flattering but given the momentum MM. has a think it's smart to put girls in their member colors since new(er) fans can say "I like the girl in purple!" and easily identify the members they gravitate towards.
That being said I hope the Olympics song has better outfits. Also though, it finally hit me how big of an impact this tie up can mean. Chances are the song will be played in every (annoying) Olympics commercial/as background music during telecasts and the Olympics being such a huge event (especially with Japan doing fairly well in the winter Olympics like figure skating) MM '14 has an opportunity to reach a ridiculously large number of new people.
