I don't know whether the semi-rebranding will last, and whether it will do any good, or just be confusing for a while (美少女クラブ, 美少女クラブ'21, or 美少女クラブ'31 - did anybody even bother to keep track?). But then again, it's no more confusing than the proliferation of three-letter48 groups.

I hope it's a good single, and it sells well. Then they can call themselves モーニング娘。美少女クラブ48組, and everything will still be fine.

Single no.56 = MM'14 56th
Single no.57 = MM'14 57th ( assuming 3 singles per year )
Single no.58 = MM'15 58th
Single no.59 = MM'15 59th
Single no.60 = MM'15 60th
etc.

Namie same week as Momusu? If it wasn't for the name change dudes getting out of prison or waking from comas after 15 years would think Japan hasn't changed one bit.

As from Namie's sales her last physical single was in the 30K range. But she's still Namie Amuro.

Her most recent single sold 32,000 copies in total. I think MM。will be fine.

ClariS's latest single sold 53,865 copies overall though... But then again that single was a tie-up for the 3rd. Madoka☆Magica movie.

Also I'm laughing at Love Live! and iDOLM@STER stuff being released on the same day. Oh, idol anime.
