The last AKB Single I liked was probably... um, that one where they're all dancing around the giant tree? Kaze wa fuiteru? Or did Frying Gets come out after that? idk lol.
2010-11 was such a great time for Ackybee. I haven't really liked a release since (though that ending theme to Wreck It Ralph was nice) but to be honest, I haven't given any releases since then a fair listen lol. I do like Sasshi a lot though, so I keep listening in hopes of catching something I like. No matter the sound though, I am interested in seeing Matsui Jurina finally fufill her destiny to become center, they've been grooming her since Oogoe Diamond for pete's sake!
They seem to be testing out a bunch of new centers just to see who can fit the bill. Paruru, Mayuyu, Jurina, Sasshi, Kojiharu. I think Sasshi carries the weight the best though, along with Yuko, mainly because they're media ready.
(Slightly tangental, I feel Jurina's janken win to be a bit to suspicious lol. I miss the olden times when the first janken tourney produced a single with a bunch of nobodies who finally had the chance to shine and gain fans. These last ones with Paruru and Jurina just feel too doctored into higher ups getting the centers they want tbh. But I guess it makes sense.
