I kinda feel like we stole a few sales from AKBs regular 2nd week.
Their 2nd week doesn't seem as scary as everyone made it seem. o.o

In the Yahoo article about women fans, the first half or so is just like all the other reports of the Ikebukuro event and 倍返し and such, but then it goes on to say how like, instead of the usual "Ohh!" of male voices at concerts, we heard about half of the crowd of 1500+ shout girlish "Kya!"s Also, how it's not the Morning Musume all the older guys have known in past years, but is becoming one which girls can identify with.
Also, instead of how Love Machine was a recall of the "good old days" of disco with easy-to-understand lyrics, in the current songs MoMusu is setting up on the cutting edge of dance and sound these days. The complexity of the dance formations is one indication of it. These fans today don't even know the old Morning Musume. Though the name hasn't changed, the stuff they're doing is completely new. These kind of "modern fans" are steadily increasing.
It closes by saying that after 15 years, the "senior idol group" spirit is erupting.
