I've been getting into Breakbot recently as well. But do you have any recommended songs?

Anything from their album "Moon Safari". It's more laid back and jazzy than the dance-oriented Daft Punk, bordering on ambient in some tracks, but it's still awesome.

Remember, there ain't no party like an S Club party.

Blood on Fire... I remember the PV having more random acrobatics more so than a lot of dancing. And the CD had a track solely to have a dude in English talk about how awesome they are.

An appreciation post for MM's live singing.

((dont judge me))

But I've been getting into boy band songs recently as in started with Exile's Choo Choo Train and now I'm here.

I just really admire the tone of his voice. But wow why does he always mess up music station lives? He like completely forgot the second verse and just l m f a o.

But if anyone has any other songs like this please share. I love upbeat songs like this. Mayuyu's recent song was almost there for me but I dont like her voice at all.

Air's one of those groups that always gets recommended to me by automated music match services. And I do like almost everything I've heard of theirs. But I don't listen to them all that much tbh. In a sense, they live up to their name. Fluffy and pleasant, but not so filling. After I listen for a while, I forget they exist until the next time someone reminds me of them, then I'm like, oh yeah, Air. So I'll probably listen to them today, now. :)

About the mixed-gender groups, I have a feeling that BEP is the most successful of all time. Either them, or ABBA. Then there are m/f duos like The White Stripes, The Bird and the Bee, Asobi Seksu, Carpenters.

Combining both topics, there is the Air-like mixed gender group, múm,

^ I love múm, and not just because they're Icelandic (although I think that affects their music to a certain extent, like how I consider Sigur Rós' music to portray Iceland so perfectly).

On the topic of mixed-gender groups, there are lots of mixed-gender indie groups out there: Belle and Sebastian, Arcade Fire, Stars, ...probably a ton more out there, and I'm just trying to name ones with both male and female vocalists. A lot of symphonic metal/rock groups also like to do the whole "beauty and the beast" thing with a soprano female vocalist and a dude growling.

That's why I like them. It's good background music while I'm working or reading.

I just noticed that we recently had another single that sold relatively low but ranked #1 for its first week. Would have been a good week for a H!P release.

http://www.generasia.com/wiki/Sister%27s_Noise (25,925 copies)

Almost as low as AAA's MIRAGE back in 2008 (25,333 copies) and lower than DEF.DIVA Suki Sugite Baka Mitai (26,353 copies).

If anyone gets the chance to, watch AAA's 777 concert. It is amazing! They interact with the audience so much and they just have so much energy throughout the whole concert!
In the middle of the concert there is a giant slot machine part for each member and it is just so funny :P
