TU: Seriously. It seems that he really likes Reina a lot and he's interested in Lovendor, so I really hope this actually leads somewhere. I'm just expecting UF to be pissed off and not listen though. Cause they seem to be ridiculous enough to do that. But maybe the change of pace for H!P can go to Lovendor too.


JonCC: How are SINA and Lovendor similar? o_O And Reina was TOLD to do a band after graduating, so that's basically what happened. She said she wanted to graduate, and they went "Ok let's do a band." Probably how things usually went with grads getting groups.
Reina wanting to keep an idol image if hardly the problem of the whole thing, having an "idol" in the band could be great.

Well, SI☆NA was a group that never really did anything major for the few years they were active and then just stopped.
I'd hate for that to happen here.

Yeah well. If we're gonna bring up groups we could bring up Ongaku Gatas etc too. But they're not the same thing at all.
And in addition to that, SINA happened during H!P's dark years, had no really known members, didn't get promoted at all nor had tours or even proper releases. They were also H!P, weren't they? There's never been a band like this before within UF as far as I know.

Which is what this reminds me of, it just seems so half-assed right now.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be wrong. I enjoy LoVendoЯ's work a great deal.

My point is that they're completely different. And Lovendor is not H!P. Might seem a tiny detail to most, but that probably changes a lot at UF. The fact that they have no idea of what they're doing doesn't help.

As far as I know, Reina wasn't TOLD to do a band. Reina said to Tsunku she wanted to continue singing after she graduates, and Tsunku said, how about a band. I'm assuming Reina's fine with the idea, as it suits her image well.

As for Gatas, they didn't do anything for ages musically before releasing the 2 singles and album, did they?

Yeah. She said she wanted to graduate but wanted to keep singing, so they said they'd do a band. That's what she said and the point is that she didn't start a band because she wanted to - but it was offered to her and because it was what the company said she went along with it. I doubt she dislikes it, as she gets to do what she wants: sing and perform. And it does suit her a lot, but it was still being told to do a band (or offered if you wanna put it like that) rather than her saying "I wanna do a band!"

My point was you make it sound like she was forced to do it, which I doubt. Tsunku knows her and probably though it might be what she'd like. If she didn't like the idea, I doubt they'd go ahead with it.

But who really knows.

Like I said, I don't think she dislikes it at all. Bands are usually formed by a group of people who wants to form a band though, or in this case it would have made a lot of sense if she would have said "I want to make a band," but she didn't and that's what surprised Nishikawa, and apparently a lot of her fans too. Had Tsunku told her to go solo, she would have. Had he said to do a new group, she would have gone with that too, probably. Just emphasizing that it wasn't HER saying she wanted to do a band. She did what she was told.

Ugh. Thinking about it makes me angry. How about listening to what they WANT to do, UF. Like, ASKING them to show them that it's okay to say what they want to do.

At the end of the day, what difference does it make whether it was her Idea or not, as long as she's happy about it.

It not like they have no say. Wasn't it Yaguchi that came up with the Idea for Minimoni for example?

Didn't Captain name Miyabi as Sub Captain? Yes, it's not a big thing, but still.
