For some unrelated reason, Aina's ghost appearance reminds me of when we were speculating about Megumi's lines in Sakura Chirari and Kanna's background vocals in Bye Bye Bye! except this time we have proof the graduated girl was actually a part of the song.

Watching the PV again and again, I've only just realized how they're dialing back the emphasis on their assigned juices even more. Obviously the colours of the gemstones, but other than that I only noticed the earrings for the hiphop outfits. The rest of their hiphop outfits were an eclectic assortment of colours and didn't match the theme at all. I'm glad its not being shoved down our throats.

I was shocked but not too affected by Aina's leaving, but seeing her ghost everywhere is making it harder for me to let go even if I was fine before T.T I miss her blocking Karin as center, I likes the competition going on

Karin is probably enjoying her center position. She got like the most screen time and probably the most solo lines.

Yuka and Akari were really starved of solo lines, and that song had a ton of lines.

Sayuki and Tomoko are just awesome!!

I'm looking forward to their 2nd single lol. It'll be the first written for them as a 5-member group after all, will be interesting how that'll be.

So, is Juice=Juice a proper H!P, or are they considered a KSS sub-group?

I got the impression that during the first 2 1/2 indie singles, they were still KSS.

And now that they're debuting a proper single, and have been added to the intro of Hello! Satoyama Life, I take it they are proper H!P now?

I've been following them they were first announced as an unnamed KSS unit, but their exact status hasn't been clear to me.

Once their major single releases they'll be a H!P group. I don't know if they'll have a proper graduation from KSS though but, yeah. I'd say they were destined to be their own group ever from the beginning, but they'll stop doing activities with KSS once they've gone through with their major debut.

They're proper H!P, since they're performing at tours and interacting with other groups (the joint live with Berryz, for example).

They're still KSS, but once they graduate (which should be at the September Nama Tamago Show) they'll become full H!P members for real (not that they aren't already, but). It's kinda the same process as what happened to S/mileage: release indies singles while still KSS then graduate from KSS once their major debut has been decided.

Okay, so it's pretty much what I thought.

With Smileage, I first saw them on Mano's Esper drama, wondering who are these girls, they're interesting.

I've always been kinda out of the loop with eggs/KSS. Not because of a lack of interest, just I never really saw much of them.

I remember before they had for S/mileage a graduation fan club video, where they just had congratulations from other eggs. Then there was a fan club notice that they graduated and completed their training.

Their graduation was acknowledged at the March 2010 Shinjin Kouen concert. It wasn't a huge graduation or anything, but I think they had a final MC (like "Bye guys!" and stuff).

We'll probably never know, though, because that was the era that UF didn't release Egg clips.
