Is it still possible that the two 'new songs' might mean the 2 current A-sides?

I wouldn't say so. On Neowings' (though not CD Japan?) website it said "Two new recorded songs" and usually they don't do messups like that. The CD Journal site says the same thing.
Pretty sure it means two new songs. If it would be JKM that'd be announced already I think, as it would be an old single just a 2013 version. So I don't think that's it.

Also, I totally buy that tracklist because it makes a lot of sense. It included some of the songs that everyone knows are Morning Musume and also includes the beginning of the electric sound era -- Renai Hunter. Makes a lot of sense so I definitely buy it.
I hope the two new songs is one electric and one more upbeat, energetic one.

The spoken part in Shabondama has a good desperate tone to it, even with Rika's half-comic delivery...

I can't say I'm initially happy with the setlist (I wanted some Platinum Era songs), but we haven't even listened to the songs, we may get blown away, and since we don't have a say on the setlist, we can only wait for it and hope the 2 new songs are incredible.

What I really want, is dance videos like C-ute did, maybe even improve those routines, since the current lineup can do much more complicated ones.
Also, we may get some previews in the coming weeks

I'm REALLY curious about what the DVD will have... other than the photoshoot of the covers ofc.

I've always thought that the monologue part of Shabondama was desperate too. The rest of the song has definite angerment though.
