In fairness that's only recently happened. Wasn't that long ago MM was rocking 30k.

30k was just the singles that really flopped, and still Mikan sold 38k, Pyocopyoco Ultra sold 34k... not like just about 30k; Berryz would be considered on the successful side to selling that much even now. But yeah MM was selling 40-55k (minus Nanchatte Renai) for many years until a year ago.

But let's face it, C-ute probably benefitted from MM's sales in many ways.

Probably. Right now I think all of H!P benefits from MM's success, and as each group becomes more successful it helps everyone else.

By the way, Kimi Chari came out a week after Renai Hunter (you know, before the recent 100k thing) and sold about 3k less.
