Yes.

Her Japanese, while not horrible, is still basic. Judging from her blog. No idea of her pronunciation though, but I doubt it's fluent lol. Either way, the language is hardly the biggest problem, she looks as white as they come which probably means she has no Asian cultural understanding whatsoever. And even if she WOULD have understanding, it's a completely different thing to be able to act accordingly. I understand pretty damn well but I'd never be able to act the way I'm "supposed to" -- which was why I left Japan in the first place.

If Tsoonk want foreign girls in H!P, I'm all for it. Create groups for it. But in MM I just want Japanese girls. Junjun and Linlin ended up being acceptable but they really took the longest time (for me) despite Junjun being adorable right from the start. Them being Chinese (Asian) helped a lot, I think. Both in terms of looks (not standing out too much in the group) but also with the cultural adaption and language, despite China and Japan being different. They're closer than Japan and... USA/Europe/Whatever non-East Asian country.

Her dancing ain't got nothing on Cuca. And I gotta say, while Cuca might not be perfect she has style and fluidity. Heidi ain't got none. Unless stiff is a new style I don't know about.

She may hang around Jplop, or have friends who do that kind of thing has happened in the past, so I don't want to say anything mean about her. If she's got her dreams, and is brave enough to give it a try, that's OK, and if she persists, and actually gets somewhere, that's good.

Heidi dances fine. Is she at the level of a professional performer? No, but she's just as good or better than other girls who get uncritically slobbered over just because they're asian and "kawaii."
She actually knows the steps, and she's looks like she's really enjoying herself. That's good enough for me.
She didn't pass because most people don't pass. No need to make up any more reasons than that.

On a different note. Does anyone think UF* was giving Heidi a fairshot (by allowing her past the first round) or was she passed through more for novelty/tv so that during the audition specials they can be all "Look how popular MM/H!P are, we even get gaijin to apply for us!!!!" with no plans of really advancing her much further?
