Sorry but I didn't find anything special in the video. I forced myself to finish it though. It's a boring close up ver PV.
People always have different preference. So we always agree to disagree.

If you find Close Up shots done for story scenes boring, then that's your opinion, but it's a fact that Chinami isn't sitting, looking bored and uncharismatic in her close up, which some people have suggested is the case.

There is a difference between finding the close up boring and Chinami, herself, acting boring or bored. Chinami is not acting boring or bored.

OK. I see what you're saying. I actually won't accuse that she's acting bored in the PV. I think she tried but didn't do well. You're right. That's different.

Even if the girl has one or two good solo close-ups (though I personally can't remember WANT nor be bothered to watch it again) she has just as many bad ones (Succhka mecchaka was painful) but even so -- on TV she's not entertaining nor memorable. I personally find that boring, if that's not the adjective you wanna use, then fine, don't, I don't care. But claiming she's full of personality and comes off as entertaining and delivers when she gets the chance on variety? Hardly. Sitting there smiling and saying a thing or two is not being entertaining.

PON was good, but it wasn't outstanding and like usual Momoko would outshine her like crazy. And it's not like Chinami didn't get the opportunity - she gots tons of it. She's just not that interesting or used to it (lol) or whatever. SHE won't be getting a call back. And no, C-ute doesn't get many callbacks either. But variety isn't their field - they have their song and their dance and performance skills. Since Berryz LACKS that, they NEED to do well in variety because that's where they USED TO SHINE even if it was just in H!P/UF-focused things. These days they don't even do that.
