[7/10] ℃-ute 22nd Single "Kanashiki Amefuri / Adam to Eve no Dilemma"

Taking a stab at what could have been the source of misunderstanding (because it sounds like you guys weren't even talking about the same thing)...

Zunu's comment ("At this point it's pretty clear C-ute's manager is kicking all kinds of ass.") sounded like a it was taking about C-ute recent success in general rather than how those cover previews look, and apparently you only meant to talk about the covers (?). I mean, if you were or at least interpreted to be talking about their success in general then, even though it's obvious management plays a HUGE role, you could see how there is incentive to give the girls some credit.

Anyway, I watched the Kanashiki Amefuri performance again because the song is amazing, and I actually have come to like the dance (esp. at the beginning and during instrumental breaks) a lot now. I love the group so much. I really want Chisato to stop being styled to look so old though.

Reallyyyyyyyyyyy hoping we'll get PVs soon. Since this comes out a week after S/mileage's single, I thought we'd get something a week after we got the PV for Yatteruchan.

I didn't *only* mean to talk about the covers; I meant that the great covers were indicative of how management have recently been doing a good job overall managing C-ute, and they should be applauded for it. That's all. It takes some strange mental gymnastics to twist an innocuous compliment into (supposedly): the only reason C-ute is successful is because they have a good management and the girls have nothing to do with it.

It's as if I said, "Wow, Chisato looks great in that group photo," and someone replied, "Screw you for putting down Maimai; she looks great too, why won't you acknowledge it?" Usually a compliment is just a compliment and not a backhanded insult. Unless you're the type of person who customarily uses praise to backhandedly insult those who are not the subject of your praise.

You know one of the PVs for this, probably Adam to Eve, but I'm hoping for Kanashiki, to be featured in the next episode of Hello!Station. That seems to be how they are going about releasing the MVs now. Which I think it cool. It gives you a reason to watch the show.
