Chinami actually gets plenty of lines on b-sides and they don't turn out awful. She sounds okay in Sekai de Ichiban and Mou, Kodomo Janai - and since those are not a-sides they don't get performed on TV at all Honestly as a Chinami fanboy I understand her position in the group, but I don't think she ruins Chinatown by any means (or any more than Maasa).

Personally, i thought Sekai de Ichiban was horrible.
In fact, so far, all non-MM b-sides sounded horrible this year.
Hopefully, ℃-ute break this chain soon.

I think since Maasa has a deeper voice her bad singing is somehow less annoying

I'm with Rm88 on this. Chii does sound quite acceptable [I like her voice actually] in Golden Chinatown.
I know that her voice is not too good, but I don't have anything against her for this song. Though I'm glad that she just get few solo words for SUW ...

I like her voice too. She's really not more offensive than enough people in S/mileage or Morning Musume, including Dear Leader Sayu.

I've enjoyed Chinami on the b-sides. And I really liked her line in Asian Generation. She just isn't very strong live. At least her nasally tone is usually more or less close to the actual pitch. Maasa writes her own melodies...

In fact, Maasa probably has had some of the worst vocal performances in the history of H!P. I never need to watch another Fanclub solo from her, again.

I like GCT. I hate the live version cos of Chinami tbh.

I like Sayonara Usotsuki, but those outfits and the awkward green background ruins it for me. Shouldv'e been more of a darker PV.
