Is it me or the instrumental sounds different in Chinatown?

Golden China Town: Maasa and Chinami shouldn't get solo lines in songs they can't handle, seriously. Captain and Yurina don't have my favorite kind of voice but at least they deliver while Maasa and Chinami really just sound... You really can't tell they've been doing this for 10 years, they come off way more like they debuted yesterday. Yurina looks way too frantic? (必死) in this lol. Maybe tone that down a bit. This song is so boring. I don't know if that's why they're boring to watch or they're boring to watch AND the song is boring but, ugh, just really boring.

cha cha: A lot better but still lacking quite a lot of energy - that seemed to get to them to the end? Which makes sense, this is hardly a studio-recording-song, it's a song made for concerts. But still miles better than Chinatown.

Yurina looks way too frantic? (必死) in this lol.

I think what's going on is that the choreography is designed for small/medium sized girls, not for a tall girl. So what looks natural on them looks kind of outlandish on her long body. Plus, Yurina, STOP SMILING SO DAMN MUCH. Try and look sultry for goodness' sake, instead of that goofy 14 year old girl's expression you put on. Really, shame on her handlers for not telling her this after all this time.

I always have a feeling that Yurina doesn't know how to work the camera. She usually have the same expression everytime when the camera is on her.

Really? I like her smiling . She actually looks like she's having fun performing unlike most of them . I feel like if I would want to meet any Berryz even though Miya and Captain are my faves I'd probably wanna meet Yurina . She seems genuinely nice and sweet

I got it backwards, I loved Yurina in this. Chinatown seemed way more "alive" as a whole than the zombie dance shot in the PV. It's not a sad song, it's not an emo teenage love song, it's fine if they smile in my opinion.

Yeah, I did. Or at least, it's part of the problem. IMO she kind of has this goofy smile that looks out of place in a grown woman's performance. It's like she's afraid to look fierce.

I wonder if Maasa is happy being in Berryz/an idol. I'm not usually one to pick up when one of the girls seems unhappy (Zukki at one point apparently) but she just seems soooooooooooo uninterested. Does she hate Golden Chinatown that much

I don't think I've seen a more boring performance from Berryz. Song is still my jam though.
