I kind of wonder what Kana did to get such an extreme push in the group (not that I'm complaining, it's refreshing to see the spotlight shifted from Dawa/Kanon). Take-chan sounded great and Meimi is continuuing her "growing up" period where I feel like both appearance/personality wise she's starting to become an adult as opposed to the hyperactive child we first saw which is awesome.

Yeeeaaaah… no. She can be fierce when she needs to be, which is just a matter of channeling her natural spaziness into her performance, but she's still a spaz.

That PV was amazing. When did S/mileage become so fierce?I have never and I mean NEVER seen S/mileage's second gen look so energetic and confident. Everyone rocked it. Also this is the first time I have seen the group look so cohesive as a whole. I didn't feel like it was Ayaka and Kanon plus the new people. They all looked like aces. That was the level of Morning Musume and C-ute. It also made Berryz kobou look really bad. That lack of enthusiasm Berryz had in their latest PVs are even more apparent by comparison.

And Meimei...

Officially Meimei is my favorite member of H!P period. Everyone says she's grown into a more mature persona... Well I love it. I'm also in love with her voice. She's been really showing her skills recently. She really looked cool in the PV. Like the coolest anyone has looked in a PV in a while.

I can't explain how much I love this single.

My favorite S/mileage single by miles and one of my favorites in all H!P.

I'm going to buy the PV. I hope Atarashii Watashi ni Nare has a good PV too.

What I get from this is that Kana should perform Osaka Koi no Uta as a solo.

I love Meimi's singing. Takechan impressed me a lot. The group felt like a group. Rina's lack of personality and presence might as well be her trademark idk. Now if only Meimi could grow up and Kana could improve her awkwardness I would actually like the group so much more on a whole.
