Otherwise though, I like it a lot more than "Golden Chinatown" in almost all aspects.

This is my issue. If you're going to give Berryz songs that sound like Momusu or C-ute songs, please also give them the same quality. "This single is good!... for a Berryz song" makes no sense to me. Usotsuki is no Crazy Kanzen na Otona, it shouldn't get a free pass just because it's not Asian Celebration.

The explanation that the group gives is that they want their dances to be simple so that their fans can do them.

This seems like a kayfabe reason to me, since if that was the real reason then they would include at least one song where the group breaks it down and goes crazy a concert to convince their fans that they can dance.

As for who it might be, the dances in Guardians 4 were super simple and it wasn't because of Aika or Nakky ...

Risako can look kind of awkward sometimes but I don't think it's her. I thought that perhaps it was Yurina since she's so tall that she might have a slight problem with her long limbs and everything but I think it could also be Chinami who, at the very least, is a lazy dancer

No thats not it. I know Berryz, I know some of them are not the best dancers, that doesn't mean they cannot have a good routine.
They have good dance routines in the past. So the problem is not with the girls but their choreographer. Some examples that I think are good dances in the past: Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda, RIVAL, Heroine and Watashi no Mirai no Danna-sama.

Even Suchaka Mechaka's video was more interesting than Chinatown and Usotsuki, and there wasn't much of dancing involved.
