She's always danced like that though? I remember Tsunku calling her out on it at least once. XD

Somebody (or more than one of them) screamed like they were genuinely freaked out by Tsunku's voice appearing out of nowhere.

Remember the videos Tsunku did about S/mileage, showing the girls' problems? He told Takechan that her dancing was too exaggerated (he mocked those moves himself XD), and even now, Akari doesn't give a fuck and keeps doing that. That stubborness really annoys me, and I think she just wants to show off by doing that. It looks weird, since all the other girls are dancing properly, and her spazzing moves really stand out (not in a good way).
Her singing is still pretty bad at times, but she's been improving, I'm sure she'll be able to sing properly in no time. I just hope she tones down her dancing... :hehe:

I'm fine with her image though. She's cute, so I'd like her a more girlish character, but she's the competitive, sport loving one, so I guess the boyish image suits her...

I love everyone in S/mileage. I like them more than Berikyuu.

But you know, short people LOVE to stand out. Hopefully she'll improve, cause her fanbase won't increase in the future. It might even decrease. Idk. It's too stable. Unlike Meimi, who increases in fans every month.

I really don't find Takechan's dancing "spazzing" at all. Yes, she moves a bit too strongly/sharply sometimes and a bit over the top but not "spazzing" in any way? Meimi on the other hand, during concerts, you could definitely see spazzing during the dances - that annoys me far more to be honest.
Takechan of course has to learn to adapt to the rest of the group as well, but I'd say that compared to last year and such she really had toned down quite a lot. Her singing still need some work - as does Meimi's falsetto - but hopefully they'll get there soon enough.

Yeah, Meimi's dancing is super spazzy and awkward. She's just ... not really a good dancer. I think of Takechan as someone who really loves to dance and just gets too into it. But she's still very good. Anyway, it doesn't bother me because I feel like she's enjoying herself, and I like seeing people having a good time on stage.

Oh, and I really like both of these songs. When I heard Atarashii, I thought, "Oh, this is the awesome song and Yattaruchan is going to be lame." But I like Yattaruchan even more than Atarashii. Very cool.

We shouldn't complain too much about S/mileage's dancing abilities. S/mileage isn't a dance based group like Morning Musume or C-ute has become. I could go into the Berryz thread and say the same thing tbh.

I love Yattaruchan. It's so over-the-top-weird it's awesome. I'd love it if they'd try to promote that song to kids in elementary school, I think it'd definitely become popular enough. Even if just Kana's former school in Osaka or something.
