I think she was like Sakura. They were trying to forcibly act cute in their singing to be more like Yuuka in terms of singing.
If anything this proves she has a great range, which was potentially going to apear sooner or later considering she was a child actress.

^There are a few voices in that song I don't recognize either @.@ One of them sounds like Kana but then again CAN'T BE cause when did she get so good. lol. The opening is Meimi and Kanon though, that much I'm sure of. Before it goes crazy ahaha.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who can't recognize some of them in that song It should be fun when they decide to sing it live. Speaking of Kana, her talking was so surprising in that H!P episode on youtube. Maybe she is also capable of singing better if she sings in a different way? Her playing the piano was awesome

Maybe we're at the phase where Tsunku is experimenting with S/mileage songs and trying a more cool image? It fits in that they're growing up and that it should be natural. I'm suddenly looking forward to what he does with them next.

Omg. This so much. I was thinking the exact same thing!!! And the song even reminds me of the euro-pop Amuro/Super Monkey's/MAX did so well.

I really love the idea behind Atarashii Watashi ni Nare! The whole wanting to change and be reborn. I can definitely relate to it which makes me like it even more.

The only part I dislike in the song is Akari's harmonies. It honestly sounds like she's just yelling. ;a; Hopefully it sounds better in a radio rip or on the official release.

I hate Akari's singing. It sounds especially worse at the high part of the song, the bridge I think?

It just sounds awful. But the rest of the song really takes off.

I've really grown tired of Akari's voice. Not that its bad because she can sing pretty well ...its just that she stands out from everyone else in a bad way for me.

I absolutely love Meimei's voice. After Shin Nippon no Susume her voice is one of my favorites in all of H!P next to Sakura.
