Ok so I think I might love this. It still sounds rough around the edges though so I want to hear the radio rip before I make any final judgements. But I really think this is going to be my favorite s/mileage aside in a LONG time. It's definitely influenced by Otona no tochuu's success during their concert tour. I wonder if that was the plan all along? Maybe he used the concert to experiment with new styles under the guise of creating an album. Seriously though some of those songs on the album are amazing and it's renewing my love (albeit slowly) for s/mileage. I would love it if the other aside was like Shin Nippon no Susume, but I have a feeling it will be more like Tabidachi Haru no Kita (which I really hate) but that's ok because at least this song is a step in the right direction at least in terms of my taste. I'm hoping this year is the year s/mileage can comeback and join in the success the other groups are having. Tsunku is much more aware of his sales right now and he must have saw s/mileage was struggling and decided he need to figure out where the group was going. So here we are now with a bit of style change.

And for whoever said the song wasn't very s/mileage it's a bit more mature than other more dance based songs they've done like uchounten love and might be more similar to Yume Miru 15 and Suki yo Junjou Hankouki don't you think? I definitely feel Otona no Tochuu is the main influence though. Tsunku even said it powered up everyone during the tour.

I meant that its tune isn't so "typical s/mileage" feel like its past songs. (Even sad songs like Suki yo and Samui ne kinda had that feeling).

It's not a bad song, but to me it sounds like "Ai wa Itsumo Itsumo" and Ai no Imo wo Oshiete, which are C-ute songs.
Again, I don't hate it, I just need to get used to it. Just like I got used to Otona no Tochuu.

I'm not saying your wrong just naming songs that I think sound like it to see if you or anyone agrees. If it took you a bit to get used to Otona no Tochuu it would probably take you a bit to get used to this song since I see many similarities. Everyone has different taste
