There were several tweets from fans that went on and on about how they should NOT vote for their favorite girl but instead vote for the one that does the best performance. Now how many that did that is of course impossible to say, but I doubt everyone actually went ahead and voted for their favorite. In that case I think Mizuki would have won, or Hamachan, as they seem to be the most popular ones?

Yep I think Hamachan or Murotan would've won too if it was just a popularity contest.

About the new kenshuuseis...
Hmm quite a few high school girls this time around, they all seem to have prior training somewhere else though so hopefully they don't spend too long languishing in kenshuusei limbo.
Not really seeing the similarities between Riho and Manaka other than the similar styling in the red jacket photo ( I swear I feel like I've seen Riho with that exact same jacket and pose somewhere before, closest I could find atm )

In that one picture yeah it's definitely there but the similarities is more because of the styling rather than her own features imo

I am hoping that these performances become available somehow. Sasaki's Kawaii Urobancho will be cool to watch, I want to see what she has done with the headbanging bits. If she went full-on like Akari does, or does the idol not-quite-headbang ala Ayacho. Also seeing fresh faces perform the old catalogue is my guilty pleasure.

Don't worry, it's not an actual rule. It's interesting to see what the domestic fans are saying/thinking too, despite the negativity of it. They're pretty much saying what others are thinking, but won't say since of course she is just a kid and still has time to work this awkward stage out.

Don't really see the difference, tbh. If it comes up here naturally (as chubby-discussions always do) is that not also "starting shit for the sake of starting shit" ? We bring in outer stuff all of the time, to fuel discussion. So unless it becomes solidified as a major rule, it's all free game.

Anyway, bad or good, I still like to know what the domestic fans are thinking, and since I can't read Japanese, other people bringing that info here is cool beans. Hopefully Kaneko's awkward stage is brief, and she blossoms ala Umeda Erika.
