The StyleCube girls ( kenshyuusei ) are training to be seiyuus. I don't think they have singing background at all
I hope they find someone like Misawa Sachika.

I'm kinda glad they did actually, assuming they're still going to continue with their own unit, which is far more popular than Stylips anyway from what I can see.
Now the other Stylips girls will have better chance to stand on their own (hopefully) and YuiKaori can focus on doing their own things.

Seiyuus do a lot more than just voicing characters. They also sing so I would expect that the lessons would at least cover basic singing skills which aren't very different from vocal training.

^Yes most of the seiyuus I know do sing but not all of them should sing ^^; Some of them sound really bad
I really would like them to do a big public audition like Morning Musume.

Then again, you get ones like Takagaki Ayahi who should stick to singing and not voice acting .

Takagaki Ayahi is honestly such a better singer than she is a voice actor. at least for younger roles. D: Like in Natsuiro Kiseki I was cringing every time her character Saki spoke.

Yeah, I feel that way too. Though she was pretty good in Tari Tari.
