When Linlin demonstrated her ability to speak confidently in grammatically correct English at AX, now that was awesomeness.

I was definitely much much more impressed with Momusu's attempts at English. From the Berryz, no one but Chinami really even tried at all, whereas I seem to recall JunJun had a several sentence long harangue about global warming.

I agree. Other than Chinami's English bit during the concert (which was perhaps the most butchered English I've ever heard but absolutely adorable ) it seemed like the rest of them had memorized a word or two (Yurina's above - she said it multiple times) and that's it. On top of Linlin busting out surprisingly fluent English during the Q&A I remember most of the other MM girls trying a lot more during the MCs bits and such. Of course most of them are a few years older.

That Chinami segment of HelloPro! TIME is the best thing ever. The camera work makes me think of video from those body mounted cameras used in MTV's Fear and VH1's Celebrity Paranormal Project. And now I totally want to see a show like that featuring H!P girls.
