If were going to do the Sailor Moon thing with the current MM, it might help to remember some of the things the make the characters tick:

Venus: Model, playgirl, and successful idol auditioner (season 5).
Mars: Temple maiden, composer/idol singer/piano player, tsundere
Jupiter: Both martial arts girl and cook
Mercury: Pre-med student smart, secret follower of boy idol groups
Moon: Ditz with no discernible talent other than being cute

60% of the posts on this entire forum are pointless musings and rants. That doesn't mean we shouldn't at least try to keep them organized.

This particular discussion has already gone on for a page, and it's more about Sailor Moon than Morning Musume.

Mars isn't Tsundere. At least she's only in the anime. In the manga and every other adaption, she has a Yamato Nedeshiko personality. She's so calm and very mature.

I don't know Celedam. It seems like they are talking mostly about morning musume. I really thought that if anything. This would be the thread where you could speak your mind and not worry about someone trying to shift you to a different thread...

This kind of stuff is EXACTLY what the Fantasy Listing thread is for, so I've moved the posts.

I've never been able to think of these reassignment things and be able to make the "main character" of the show/etc be anyone but the "face of the group".
So when I hear "Masaki as Moon or die!" I'm like even if their personalities might match.

In the current group:

Tsukino Usagi/Sailor Moon: Michishige Sayumi - Usagi has a sharp tongue and is pretty mediocre in everything but succeeds because her heart will never let her quit. Sounds like Sayumi to me. She also rocks the hair style.

Aino Minako/Sailor Venus/Sailor V: Ibuko Haruna - Minako is a video game model who wins an idol singing contract after she starts High School. Haruna would also do well with the hairstyle.

Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus: Ikuta Erina - Sportswoman and boy type character, and a couple with Sailor Neptune.

Kaioh Michru/Sailor Neptune: Fukumura Mizuki - Touring violin player, part of a couple with Sailor Uranus that is supposed to suggest a Takarazuka Theater couple.

Mizuno Ami/Sailor Mercury: Kudou Haruka - Both are swimmers with short hair. Kudou doesn't have Ami's personality but she's a good actress and could adapt.

Other than that, not much pops out to me.
