^Just to avoid confusion, that ranking is on the Oricon main chart and not the Oricon Indies chart.

^I didn't see them rank on the indies chart probably because they were already in the main chart. It was the same case for UpUpGirls.

As someone explained in UpUpGirls thread, an indies group would get into the main chart if they were selling more than usual, otherwise they would be in the indies chart.

Found it, it was boinsie.

^^ I think it's just that indies singles don't normally sell enough to chart on the normal ranking, so they get listed in a special "indies ranking" so you can see how well they're doing as compared to other indie releases. But those indies singles that do sell enough to compete with the big contenders aren't barred from showing up on the normal ranking--they just have to have the sales for it.
