Well, I'm reminded of a scene from Morning Musume DVD Magazine Vol 12 (i.e., backstage of the 2006 Autumn tour) when Koharu asked the same question and Sayu told her they counted from first singles.

Yeah, it's unofficial, but it makes more sense to me. Different people come to the business in different ways, and they spend much different amounts of time preparing for their major debuts. That first single is the only fair and truly objective measure.

6ki have like three points they can count though right? Passing the audition, their concert debut with Too Many Musumes and Shabondama.

6ki started doing fanclub events and stuff rather soon after passing the auditions though. Handshake events and whatnot. Yes, their debut single was in July but they have been active members and working since January 2003.

well, most of us want Rokkis reunion for Reina's grad concert, but I also would love to if Maki came to this concert too, since she's Reina's idol . Not maybe as performer but as surprise guest at backstage (or even at stage) to say a few words to Reina

I'm sure a lot of people will come and watch the concert and it wouldn't surprise me if Maki did if so. But we'll see. She'd definitely not get up on stage though.
