Tbh his version sounds much more natural. That kinda sounds like dialog from a sword and sorcery novel.

Yeah, I agree. But to me the video and the way they phrase the sentences definitely doesn't give me a "natural" feel. Seems very "I'm ready for battle"-ish. Which is... why I'd translate it that way.
