^ you need to stop agreeing with DARC (and vice-versa), people get you two mixed up enough as it is.
on the idol talk, even if people find an idol boring, if she can sing/perform THAT well most people will at least accept why she is in the group. and if she' cute and charming to boot, she gets loads of fans (hence, Aichan). Aika was not very charming or cute, and also didn't bring much to the personality front, but if she was at least a
really, really good singer/performer (not just acceptable depending on the song) people would respect her more as a contributing member.
but she really has none of those, so going back to koregaboku's point, it explains why she wasn't
successful. most of the kyuukies are already more popular than her, and she is likely to be beaten by several of the juukies as well. no matter how you feel about Aika, you can't deny how people could arrive at the conclusion that she wasn't a
successful idol within the group.
