But, wouldn't Maasa have to own up to liking anime that was YAOI instead of just having vague YAOI subtext before she could be called a fujoshi?

OK, I never read the manga but I did watch the anime and the LA version and don't remember any yaoi aspects at all. Was the manga somehow different or did I just block the boy/boy-ish ish from my consciousness.

Most yaoi-fodder for fujoshis actually don't have much actual yaoi in the original source anyway

I was looking at Makoto's blog and it seems she is participating in something involving werewolves. I wonder if someone who understands Japanese better than me and google translate can clarify this?

She's gueststarring in a stageplay that's named Jinrou, which by the kanji (人狼) I would guess would mean Werewolf (the one I'm familiar with 狼人間). Completely adlib though as it's just a guest appearance.
