Music Tonight reporting on OkuKara on Sengoku Nabe TV. Another incarnation of Up-Up Girls. They are known as OkuKara on Sengoku Nabe TV.

OkuKARA debuts with MISTER no Otetsuki Jumpin - another original song from UUG. Performance starts at 1:30.

Very k-popish but I like how UUG sound here Claneksi says they were probably have a play of word with the name KARA, the k-pop girl group and thus why they sound k-popish. Also MISTER is one of KARA's songs

but whatever is going on on their hips/waists (i think it might be a weird obi thing?) ruins the effect. ^^;

Looks like they will have a corner in this Sengoku Nabe TV thing..

The description says 'a vocal and dance group produced by Kasuga no Tsubone formed from the palace's maids and concubine that will only active inside the palace'.. They called 奥カラ (OkuKara. Oku (奥) means 'inner part' and Kara is the Korean group obviously lol) They will 'debut' in the corner with song 'Mister no Otetsuki Jumpin' Again, Kara reference here..

So the story is.

They're a group formed within the Ooku in Edo castle. They're not allowed to go outside of the Ooku unless they get a special permit to do so, but their curfew is really strict. So because of this, everything that this group does will occur inside the Ooku.
They're a dance and vocal unit that the producer formed with these girls from all girls in Ooku.
Their debut single is a song about their feelings towards their "mister". In secret, they refer to the Shogun as "mister".
お手つき (Otetsuki) refers to that if the Shogun ends up liking any of the girls in the Ooku they get to spend the night with him. Something which, if it happens, is considered quite a success within the Ooku. These 7 girls have all been chosen and "given success" several times and so it is with those feelings that they sing the song.

Oraku (Sengoku) - Leader. Was scouted by the producer when walking the street. He was wearing big sunglasses so she didn't believe it was him, but as the business card she received had the same number as Edo Castle, she realized it was true. And after talking with her parents, she called him.
Omiyo (Furukawa) - The malicious one.
Keshouin (Mori) - The adviser of the group. Her parents run a greengrocer shop. Various things happened and she entered the Ooku. Now she has quite a lot of power.
Oman (Satou) - The variety girl of the group. She was scouted by the mister himself.
Ejima (Saho) - The unlucky one.
Oden (Sekine) - She is the steady one. Originally she was Keshouin's manager, but she was chosen by the Mister because he found her cute and that way became a member.
Gekkouin (Arai) - The scandalous one.

ok I am a big fan of Sengoku Nabe TV

Sengoku Nabe TV is made by TVK (TV Kanagawa) and only airs weekly in Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Hyogo and Miyagi.
Awkwardly, most of its fan base are in Tokyo so most of the fans can only get to watch it either on Internet or DVD

Usually, a parody unit that appeared on the show will appear continuously for a few weeks, if they stop appearing, it means it's time for the next parody unit and the previous unit wouldn't appear again.

(So I think Up Up Girls wouldn't appear again unless they are chosen to act as another parody unit lol)

I really need to start familiarizing myself with these girls better, the girl who played Gekkouin (short haired, back row second from the left) is super cute So far i can only pick out Mori Saki in this group OTL
