there's only one Sasshi that i know of, but i actually have only heard people liking her.. then again i'm not exactly immersed. ^^;

She's got a lot of haters, but I think in Japan she's pretty popular.

She's the Eri-wota, which made me pay attention to her but she's hilarious. She also did "Dear J" much better than Itano, imo.
Though she's not the best singer, and she's more like Takamina; suited for variety rather than singing. Also her single is boring as fsk.
Buuuut. I love her. xD So I'm okay with this.

And @random twitter person. How would Tsunku not know about this? xD After all, he wrote the damn song he'd have had to approve of it? ahahaha

It depends if he still owns the rights for this song, it could easily be 100% owned by UFs publication company: Up Front Music INC.

Although I don't he sold all of the rights. And even if he did, U don't think that Up Front wouldn't give him a call when there's a request for a cover.


It would be stupid for Up Front or Tsunku not to approve this, it's easy money after all. It might even trigger some more sales of Ayaya's best albums along the way.

I dunno, I don't think Takamina's voice is that bad.

And I keep trying to listen to Dear J, but I can't make it through the whole song D:. Which is a shame, because Tomochin is my third favourite in AKB. I like her other singles, though.

I watched a live (yeah a LIVE) sung by Takamina that was recommended from a H!O AKB fan. And while she has an ok voice, and technically sings well, she runs out of stamina VERY quickly and was all over the place by the song's ending. That's not a good singer in my book, but it's one of the best AKB has so...

And I actually like Sashihara Rino for being an H!P wota I think she sang Yeah Meccha Holiday for an event before but haven't seen it, so no idea how the cover could end up.
