"Chocolate Planner" is a program in which comedians Chocolate Planet, the biggest hit makers in the entertainment industry, have been introducing a variety of new projects as "planners." This time, the third popular project, "Dressing Room Impersonation Championship" was aired. In this challenging and surprising project, young group members go into the dressing of celebrities and keep impersonating various fictitious groups, disguising themselves repeatedly and greeting them until they are finally noticed.

This time, the challenge will be taken up ME:I. They are all under the watchful eye of their target DJ KOO, who is overflowing with love for idols.

ME:I started their dressing room greeting with DJ KOO. Suddenly an emergency situation occurred. Unlike the previous targets, DJ KOO, is an idol connoisseur, had already checked out ME:I's music videos. He knew so much about their latest single "Hi-Five" that the conversation became lively.

ME:I "Oggi" in full bloom in adult mode

In a change from their usual girly and colorful image, ME:I, a popular girl group chosen by viewers of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN," the audition program that gave birth to JO1 and INI, will release their second single on August 28th. The girls make their first appearance in the magazine's music series "Working Me Musik". They were photographed in full bloom in an adult mode.

The bond between the members has really deepened!
It has been five months since the long-awaited debut of the "idols of the future." In this interview, we hear about the changes that have taken place so far.

MOMONA : "Our teamwork is getting better with each passing day."
KOKONA : "We started getting together and practicing together, saying, 'Let's get it together before the lesson starts.'"

I was still holding out some hope I'd enjoy their music more, even if I didn't like any of the original songs from the show. But alas.. I'm glad they're doing well though. Maybe they'll come out with something I like in the future.

[Idol Tenshoku Ondo]

I listened to the previews on Mora of the b-sides and they were pretty safe sounding and uninteresting. I'll watch some lives of them later but I'm not puttin' down money on 'em. Shame cuz I really like this group and the members, the first 3 releases of an artist are very formative so I wonder what's gonna come from the big #3. Hope their next stuff corrects the trajectory. I'm pretty sure the theme for Hi-Five was "fun summer song" and nothing more. I wouldn't even care if it wasn't their 2nd single but it is their second single and if people are on the fence about this group then doing "fun summer song" doesn't do anything for them.

Souzouijou Me:I version is better than the Pd101 version though. It's more cute and I enjoy it much more than the original. More like that with slightly less sudden mood shifts would draw me in.
