Niinuma Kisora is currently the sub-leader, but Yamagishi announced that Tanimoto Ami has been appointed as the new sub-leader too. There are two sub-leaders to prepare when Yamagishi Riko and Yumeno Kishimoto graduate.
Yamagishi also said that she hopes Niinuma and Tanimoto will lead the group together.

Tanimoto : She says she is determined to do her best to support Yamagishi the leader and help her in any way she can until her graduation.

Juice=Juice Irie Risa has been experiencing discomfort in her left leg since late May and has continued to perform while undergoing treatment, but has now been diagnosed with a "sprained leg joint" and it has been decided that it is best to wait and see how intense her movements become.

After Takeuchi's graduation,
The leader has been announced!

The next leader is Kamikokuryo-san!

Kamikokuryo-san loves ANGERME!
I'm sure everyone can feel that love.

She is so full of love for ANGERME that she often says "I love ANGERME too much! what should I do?"

She was always giving advice to the younger members and teaching them how to sing and dance,
Whenever she had free time, I saw her practicing with her juniors, saying, "Hey, let's practice singing together."

Before and after rehearsals, She would come to the studio earlier than my own participation time for the younger students, or she would stay behind to support them for hours of practice.

She talks to junior members in a friendly and helpful manner from the same perspective as the junior members.

I often read about such episodes of Kamikokuryo's in the blogs of the members.

She has been leading our members in many situations in the past!

I will continue to serve as a sub-leader!

You can rely on us for everything!

Since right after I joined, Kamikokuryo-san and I often talked about how we wanted to do this and that, how we wanted to make our dreams come true, and how we wanted to do things in order to make them come true.

When I talk with Kamikokuryo-san, it is usually about ANGERME or her work, but we talked so much the other day that we could talk forever!

We often talk about the future of ANGERME, and they are all really reliable members!

I will do what I can do for the group to the best of my ability so that I can help everyone in ANGERME achieve even one of the things they want to achieve and climb even one more step on the stairway to their dreams!

I will be taking over the leadership of ANGERME after Takeuchi-san's graduation!

Why me, and not Sasaki-san or Kawamuu?
I know many of you are anxious to know why.

I took the leadership because Sasaki-san was there and Kawamuu was there.
I took on the role of leader because I have Ise-Pin, Rin-Rin, Kero, Shionu, Wakanya and Pei.

I probably cannot lead a group by myself.

But I can do my best for the members.
And I know a lot of good things about all the members.

We are reliable, trustworthy, and our favorite members are in the right place at the right time. I want to make ANGERME be together with everyone!

I, you know, I love the time I spend talking about Ange with everyone.

I hope that we can become a group where everyone, regardless of senior or juniors, can share their own thoughts, dream together, work hard together, and make it come true!

It is the leader's job to communicate that dream, that goal, to the company and make it come true!

I will do my best there!

It has been a long time coming,

I have spent wonderful days so far under the wonderful leaders, Wada-san and Takeuchi-san, and surrounded by wonderful members.

I will do my best to pass the baton to the next generation!

Takeuchi commented strongly "If anything happens to Kami, I'll be there, and I have a big backer called "Wadacho" behind me," and she promised to support the new organization together with the first leader, Wada Ayaka. Morning Musume. '23 and ANGERME were scheduled to have their Okinawa concert performances on June 3rd. However, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 2, it has become difficult for them to travel and transport equipment. They tried hard to make arrangements for the concert to be held at another location, but they have no choice but to cancel the performance.

Instead of cancelling entirely, Hello! Project staff have managed to reschedule "Morning Musume. '23's 25th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT TOUR ~glad quarter-century~" tour performance in Okinawa. They had difficulty booking the same venue (Naha Grand Theatre venue), so they decided to change a different venue.
