I hate that the word "project" looks just a teeny bit smaller than "hello". I can't tell if it's my brain screwing with me because of the slant of the exclamation point but either way I think the old logo is better. (And the even older H with the eyes logo was even better than that.)

Yesterday on the golden time variety talk show "Ueda to Onna ga Hoeru Yoru" (Ueda & Girl's Barking Night) 2-hour special, some female talent and models who are also otaku of popular idols, anime, and K-POP, each talked about their crazy fandom obsessions. Hello Pro super fans Kamiko Inuyama and Dekami-chan were in charge of talking about their love for Hello Pro.

In the first half of the show @ 12 min. 48 sec., Inuyama and Dekami-chan talk about collecting FSKs (Figure Stand Keyholders). They used them as Christmas tree ornaments.

@ 18:38 and 21:30, Dekami-chan also talked about how she likes to copy everything her oshi does from pictures they take. From wearing the same clothes and brands as her oshi (Ozeki Mai from Country Girls), to eating the same foods at the same cafe, and taking a picture with the same pose.

In the 2nd hour of the show @ 4 min. 33 sec. in, Inuyama and Dekami-chan talk about how fun it is having otaku friends share the same interest.
@ 6 min. 48 min, even though she has a busy schedule, Dekami-chan manages to find a way to fit in Hello Pro's concert schedule

The Nakano Sun Plaza complex in front of JR Nakano Station (Nakano Ward, Tokyo) will close on July 2, 2023, according to data from the Nakano Ward Council. The reason for the closure is the rebuilding of the building as part of a redevelopment project. The city will consider holding a "closing commemorative concert" and a "Nakano Sun Plaza retrospective exhibition" in conjunction with the closure of the building.

A New facility to be completed in 2028
Image

Nakano Sun Plaza opened in June 1973. The distinctive white triangular-shaped building houses a hall with over 2,000 seats, a hotel, restaurants, and other facilities.

The hall has hosted concerts of a wide variety of genres, including enka, rock, and idol music, and is well known among music lovers.

In May 2021, the details of a redevelopment project by Nomura Real Estate Development Co. and others were announced, which called for demolition of the current facility and construction of a new facility with a combined hall and hotel with a maximum capacity of 7,000 people. With the goal of receiving an urban planning decision by the end of 2022 and completing construction of the facility in 2028. the current facility has been the focus of much attention.

At the meeting of the boards of directors of both the facility operator, Nakano Sunplaza Co. and the facility owner, the closure of the facility was decided for July 2nd, 2023. The company stated that operations, excluding the hall, would end at the end of June of the same year.

In closing the building, the company is considering holding a "Concert to Commemorate the Closing", a "Hall Backstage Tour", and a "Nakano Sun Plaza Retrospective Exhibition" as part of efforts to "preserve the legacy" of Nakano Sun Plaza in memory of the building. The company is also considering events for ward residents, such as tours of the facility.

Since its opening in 1973, Nakano Sun Plaza has hosted numerous concerts by artists of various genres, both domestic and international.

This will be the last time we will see "Nakano Sun Plaza," filled with memories such as the distinctive grand staircase of the hall.

As the culmination of its 50-year history, the "Nakano Sun Plaza Music Festival" will be held for an unusually long period of two months.
Artists associated with Nakano Sunplaza and other top artists of various genres will gather in Nakano for a special concert.

All right, which one of you met Kishimon on the streets of Japan recently? XD

Kishimon tells a story that had happened very recently, where she was walking around town and was suddenly called by a foreign man. At first she thought she was being hit on (Nanpa), and tried to just walk away, but after being called by her name, she went and talked to that person. She found that he was an H!P fan from Canada who was visiting Japan for 10 days only for the purpose of going to H!P concerts. They chatted a bit, and since it is NG for her to shake hands or take photos with fans in private or outside of an event, she took a photo from her mobile phone to keep for herself. The man also told her that in Tsubaki, Kishimon was his favorite member (Kishimon says she is unsure if he was being truthful or just polite). Kishimon was very happy about the whole episode. She felt extremely grateful that there are people in other countries who take the time to follow her activities and support her.

Ask ChatGPT
https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/

Does "AI" know Hello! Project? Ask it anything about Hello Project

The last update it seems to know is only up to September 2021. Wherever it's getting it's data from, hasn't been updated.

Who is the current leader of Morning Musume?

As of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, the current leader of Morning Musume was Fukumura Mizuki. Fukumura Mizuki has been the leader of the group since September 2014, taking over from Michishige Sayumi. It's possible that the leadership position has changed since my knowledge cutoff, as leadership positions in Morning Musume can change frequently.

What is a Hello Wota?

"Hello Wota" is a term used to describe fans of the Japanese female idol group, Morning Musume, and other groups associated with the Hello! Project. The term "Wota" is short for "otaku" and refers to someone who is a dedicated fan of a particular interest or hobby. In the case of Hello Wota, it refers to fans of the Hello! Project and their associated groups, who often attend their live concerts and events, purchase their music, merchandise, and follow their activities closely. The term "Hello Wota" has become a popular way for fans to identify themselves and connect with others who share their passion for the Hello! Project.

How many songs does Hello Project have?

As of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, Hello! Project has released a vast number of songs, including those performed by its various groups and soloists. It is difficult to give an exact number since Hello! Project has been active for over 20 years and has released numerous singles, albums, and other recordings during that time. However, it is estimated that Hello! Project has released well over 1,000 songs, including those from its flagship group Morning Musume, as well as other groups like ANGERME, Juice=Juice, Country Girls, Tsubaki Factory, and more. Additionally, Hello! Project has had many soloists over the years, such as Matsuura Aya, Mano Erina, and Ishikawa Rika, who have also released their own songs. It's worth noting that this number may have changed since my knowledge cutoff, as Hello! Project continues to release new music and add to their extensive discography.

Who is the prettiest Hello! Project member?

As an AI language model, I do not have personal preferences, opinions, or subjective judgments, including those related to physical appearance. It is important to remember that beauty is subjective and what one person finds attractive may not be the same for another. All the members of Hello! Project are talented and unique individuals who bring their own special qualities to the groups they are a part of. It is best to appreciate them for their musical abilities and performances, rather than focusing on their physical appearance.

What is JPLOP?

JPLOP is an online community and discussion forum that focuses on Japanese pop music and the associated entertainment industry. The name "JPLOP" stands for "Japanese Pop Culture Lovers Online Portal," and the forum was created to provide a space where fans of J-pop and related genres could come together to share news, information, and opinions. JPLOP covers a wide range of topics related to J-pop, including idol groups, solo artists, anime music, and more. The forum also provides a platform for fans to discuss the various aspects of the Japanese music industry, such as record labels, concert tours, and media coverage. Overall, JPLOP serves as a hub for J-pop fans from around the world to connect and share their passion for this popular genre of music.

is Hello Project cool?

As an AI language model, I cannot make subjective judgments about whether Hello! Project is "cool" or not, since the definition of "cool" can vary widely based on individual taste and cultural context. However, Hello! Project is a well-established and influential entertainment company in Japan that has produced many successful and popular idol groups and solo artists. The company has a loyal and dedicated fan base and has had a significant impact on the Japanese music industry and popular culture. Whether or not someone considers Hello! Project "cool" is a matter of personal taste and opinion, but it is certainly a significant and well-respected part of the Japanese entertainment industry.

Does Upfront have a good reputation?

Up-Front Group, the parent company of Hello! Project, has a generally positive reputation in the Japanese entertainment industry. The company is well-respected and influential in the world of Japanese idol music, and has produced many successful and popular idol groups and solo artists over the years. Up-Front is known for its high production values, creative vision, and commitment to developing new talent, as well as for its ability to adapt to changing trends in the music industry. The company also places a strong emphasis on cultivating close relationships with its fans, and is known for its fan-friendly policies and events. While no company is perfect and there have been occasional controversies or missteps, Up-Front's overall reputation in the industry is generally positive.

According to Google, nobody has ever said that JPLOP stood for "Japanese Pop (Culture) Lovers Online Portal." I think that's pretty hilarious that ChatGPT just made up a meaning all on its own.
