Tsubaki Factory holds a strategy meeting for their 5th Anniversary live "Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2022" at Kawaguchiko Stella Theater. They want to make lots of memories for Summer 2022.

- They first start collecting their ideas of what they want to try out in their "Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2022". Each member gets an input.
- Riko announces that they will two have performances, 1:30pm, and 5:30pm. So they will have some creative ideas to make them both unique.
- Niinuma Kisora remembers when Morning Musume. '14 performed at this venue, the view of Mt. Fuji was beautiful and spectacular.
- Since the weather might be really hot at 1:30pm, they suggested some spraying everyone with water guns.
- Other suggestions : Signed balls thrown, Soap Bubbles, and water balloons.
- They also suggest ideas on how to decorate the whole lobby / entrance to the venue to make it feel like a Summer festival.
- They also thought about member color outfits and maybe yukata.
- They also want to have fireworks.
- Then they collect ideas for the "subtitle" for "Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2022 ~ ~". They have 8 ideas. @ 11:07, Ono Mizuho suggested "Hey, Let's Kiss". The staff and managers will help decide.

Next, they will try to come up with ideas for the type of goods they want.

Then they discuss what Summer related songs from Hello! Project they want to cover, possibly in shuffle units. They were given a list of Summer songs. But they also suggested some non-Summer related high energy songs they want to pump everyone up to.

They will also decide what Tsubaki Factory songs they want to sing. They have a lack of Summer songs in their discography, so it's not easy to decide.

@ 17 minutes in, Yamagishi Riko made an important announcement : Tsubaki Factory will be performing an unreleased brand new song live at the "Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2022". It is a type of song they have never performed before. They are keeping it a secret. The title of the song will revealed on youtube etc. at some point.

A few decisions have been made and are announced.

First the subtitle :
"Tsubaki Factory no Natsu Matsuri 2022 ~Shakunetsu~ (灼熱 ; scorching heat), Ono Mizuho's idea.

Ono Mizuho's other suggestion "Nee Chuu Shiyou!" (Hey, Let's Kiss!) was almost chosen LOL.

Next they conduct a lottery for the shuffle corner combinations. There will be 5 shuffle teams (Solo, a 2-member team, another 2-member team, a 3-member team, and a 4-member team). They randomly select from a box.

Then they listen to a sample sound of their unreleased new Summer song. We cannot hear it just yet, so we can only watch their reactions. Please look forward to them performing the new song made for the live.

They announced at the end that they will have an official bus tour trip from Tokyo to Kawaguchiko. FC members get exclusive benefits and bus tour goods. Applications start tomorrow.

This time, they will introduce and recommend delicious foods from Tokyo, Kanagawa and Yamanashi prefectures on the way to Kawaguchiko Stella Theater from Tokyo. This is a self-collaboration with "Tsubaki Factory's eats from all over Japan"!

Tsubaki Factory wants to continue to fulfill the goal they declared at the beginning of the year : "Kuu"

The word "Kuu" was written by Tsubaki Factory. With the addition of new members, Tsubaki Factory will celebrate the 5th anniversary of their major label debut in 2022. Last year we had our first solo performance at the Nippon Budokan, and we'd like to keep this momentum going this year! We also want to surpass many other idol groups and "consume" their momentum too so that when we look back on this year, we can say that Tsubaki Factory was the most impressive idol group. I also want to travel around the country for live performances and promotions and eat lots of delicious food.

- Mei-chan's outfit includes a cape. Mei : "Last year, Ikuta-san's costume was a long cape, which was cool. I thought I was not ready for a long cape, so I shortened it and put it on."
- Opening Talk by Mei herself : The opening talk is actually a quiz she has to get through.
Q. How many pandas are there in today's costume?
A. 14. Four on each side of the socks. On her shoulders are small panda plushies.
Q. Did you finish your throat lozenges today without chewing them?
A. I actually chewed it before I knew it.
~ Suzuki Keita appears on stage and talked about Mei-chan birthday goods.
Mei-chan's first choice was a "yurayura (wobbling) glass" with an illustration of a panda.
In order for people to see the illustration, she said, "At first, please put a clear drink in it. After that, put something pink and enjoy the baby panda".

- Mei-chan's fortune telling corner. The first fortune-telling corner was at Mei-chan's request. She said, "I am interested in fortune-telling, but I have never been to one yet. Even when the members talk about fortune-telling, I just end up saying, 'I see.'"
~ Chronology : The year 2025 is not a bad year, but the next three years will be very good.
~ The year before that, 2024, watch out for injuries and illnesses.
~ She is suited to be a leader. If the group has 10 members, she is not the type who takes the initiative and says "follow me" to the remaining 9 members, but the type who acts as a sign for the group.
When Keita asked, "Are you the one who decides what to do when you play with your friends?" Mei replied, "I don't have too many friends (tomodachi)" In elementary school, she was once a group leader, but not since entering junior high school.
~ Compatibility : In 15th gen, you are gen mates (nakama). If you have some common goal, you will work together to achieve it, but they do not go deep into each other's private lives.
Mei-chan added, "The three of us in the 15th gen have talked about it, but 'If the three of us were in the same school, we would never be in the same group.'"
~ In Morning Musume, I find that Fukumura-san and Ikuta-san have great chemistry, as there is no overlap between them and they recognize each other's personalities.
~ The people who are in "Mei World" are Mei and Makino.

- Challenge corner :
~ The first one was "17-second talk," in which she was asked to summarize a theme in 17 seconds of free talk. The themes were "ribbon," "sugarcane," "electrical outlet," and so on.
~ The next challenge is to see if you can spot the changes in the illustration. Three parts of the illustration gradually change over a 17-second period. Guess where the changes occurred.
~ The last challenge is to remember the past choreography. On the screen behind her is a video of "Real☆Little☆Girl" performed at the 2018 recital "Niji". The correct way to look at it is to compare it with the current Mei, but it features Mei, Ishiguri, Tamenaga, Riai, Okamura Minami, and Rin in their green Kenshuusei outfits.
