Sato, who joined the group in September 2011 and has been active for about 10 years, said to her fans, "I didn't do it alone for 10 years, but the staff, members, managers, and my family accepted me, supported me, and shined a light on me, which is why I am shining. Thank you so much for accepting me, who has such a difficult personality," she said. At the end, she sang "Egao no Kimi wa Taiyou Sa" and showed tears in her eyes.
At Morning Musume's graduation concerts, there is usually a ceremony where the graduating members read their letters, but this time there was no ceremony, and Sato commented on her blog updated on the 13th, the day of the concert, "What I want to tell you now is all in Tsunku-san's song that we will sing at today's concert." According to a source, the decision was made not to hold a graduation ceremony, partly because Sato wanted to "finish the concert like a regular Morning Musume concert." Sato "Today, I'd like to sing a song to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me over the past 10 years." She sang a solo version of "Egao no Kimi wa Taiyo Sa," released in 2014. The song was chosen by Sato because "the lyrics were perfect for my current state of mind." Later, the members joined the group and all performed together. Sato asked the audience to give a round of applause to the other members, staff and other people involved in the concert. The concert ended as the venue was filled with loud applause and emerald green penlights.
