ANGERME Sasaki Rikako's 20th Birthday event @ LANDMARK HALL 5.28.21

Rikako's teenage years are over, and is now an adult.

In the opening talk about being 20 years old, Rikako says :
"I've been getting a lot of comments from people asking me 'Are you going to / or thinking about graduating?' now that I've turned 20. I'm not thinking about it! I don't have any plans to graduate at all."

The audience applauded.

"I'm not trying to reassure you, but it's my decision / choice. There are still things I want to do! I don't want people to think that my time is limited because I've turned 20."

1st event

Her Papa calls her "Pika" (ぴか).

"Rikako, who was called "Pika" in a letter from her papa.
She was named "Pikalin" by her father because she was "shiny and bright," which was abbreviated to "Pika".
Rikako recreates the circle formation that she and her father used to do when they formed the "Papa-Pika Alliance" when she was little.

Today (5/30) is the finale of the Hello! Project ~Kachou Fuugetsu~ tour, and only Team Bird and Team Flower are performing. Yesterday (5/29), was actually the last day of the tour for Team Wind and Team Moon, because their performance scheduled for today in Osaka was cancelled awhile back.

Notice updates for Morning Musume. '21 Sato Masaki, and Okamura Homare.

Sato Masaki has been suffering from irritable bowel syndrome intermittently and is taking a break from some of the activities.

They have been monitoring her progress while she has been visiting the hospital. The doctor has diagnosed that it is still difficult for her to do activities that require her to stay in the same place for long periods of time.

Therefore, we have made the decision that she will not participate in all performances of the upcoming "Hello! Project 2021 SUMMER" starting in July.
We will keep an eye on Sato's other activities and make a decision as needed.

Okamura Homare, who was diagnosed with "sudden hearing loss", was absent from live performances. But now that her symptoms have subsided and the doctor has given her the okay to resume activities involving loud noises, she will be performing at the concert.
